A glimpse of the 25th event within the program “Introduction to Building the Syrian State,” organized by SEWAR Organization in the city of Aleppo.
The lecture was titled “From the Well to the Digital Wallet: The Story of Islamic Waqf Between Prosperity, Stagnation, and Revival,” and was delivered by Dr. Mohammad Yasser Batikh.
The lecture addressed the concept of Islamic Waqf (endowment) and its evolution throughout history, as well as its societal and developmental role. It also discussed the challenges it has faced and the potential for developing it by leveraging modern tools to enhance its impact.
