Within the project “Workforce Development in the Construction Sector for Immediate Employment in Reconstruction Efforts in Aleppo City,” implemented by SEWAR Organization (Kalkınma Şafak Derneği) in partnership with GlocalShift Foundation and supported by the Abdul Aziz Al Ghurair Refugee Education Fund, the Occupational Safety and Health training was conducted over several days.
The training aimed to enhance participants’ awareness of occupational safety and health principles, and to enable them to apply prevention and risk reduction procedures in work environments, contributing to providing a safer working environment.
The training included theoretical sessions and practical applications focusing on identifying occupational hazards, using personal protective equipment, mechanisms for dealing with accidents and emergencies, in addition to safe practices at work sites, especially in the construction sector. This training comes within a series of supportive training sessions aimed at enhancing the readiness of young men and women for the labor market, and supporting their transition from learning to working within a safe and productive professional environment, especially in the construction and reconstruction sector.
