Within the project “Workforce Development in the Construction Sector for Immediate Employment in Reconstruction Efforts in Aleppo City,” implemented by SEWAR Organization (Kalkınma Şafak Derneği) in partnership with GlocalShift Foundation and supported by the Abdul Aziz Al Ghurair Refugee Education Fund, the English language training was conducted over several days.
The training aimed to develop participants’ English language skills and enhance their ability to communicate in work environments, contributing to raising their readiness to enter the labor market, especially in the construction and reconstruction sector.
The training included theoretical sessions and practical applications focusing on developing listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills, alongside essential vocabulary and terminology related to the work environment and professional communication. This training comes within a series of supportive training sessions aimed at enhancing the readiness of young men and women for the labor market, and supporting their transition from learning to working within a safe and productive professional environment, especially in the construction and reconstruction sector.
